I got on the bike with my book "Chasing Alliecat" and 2.5 hours later I was done...Easy as pie! It feels good to feel fit finally. For so long I wouldn't go down slides with Jeremy or do a myriad other things - but now I can. Mom took me shopping yesterday to celebrate and my new pants are a size 12. I haven't worn a size 12 since I got married.
I am so looking forward to warmer weather and getting outside. I plan to ride with a group called the ChainGang. I didn't hook up with them last year because I didn't think I could handle it yet, but now I do! The first ride on the schedule is April 14th.
On another note: Jeremy has his dance recital tonight. I am so excited for him but hope he hasn't inherited his parents stage fright.
One last note: I really think I'm on to something good genealogy wise. My brick wall all along has been William Rountree father of William Fain Rountree. Well I think I've found the family church and have ordered microfilm of the membership lists and meeting notes through the LDS. I think I may have also found a brother of William's named George William Rountree. There is a GW Rountree living with the family in 1860. There is a George William Rountree who married in 1861. The really cool thing is that there is a photo of George William with his wife. I don't have any concrete evidence but I'm looking hard. George William was said to have been an engineer on the boat Dubois. While we know that William and William Fain were both railroad engineers.
Good times all around.
