Great ride today

I just got off the bike from my 2.5 hour ride - and I feel great!  Normally when I do my long ride I don't incorporate intervals or hard training because I figure just being able to go the 2.5 hours is good enough.  Well today I started off with my Real Rides 101 training video that I normally use on Tuesday and Thursdays.  It's a challenging program and it takes around 45 minutes to complete, they follow the training with different segments on bike safety, nutrition and everything a beginner needs to know.  I then went to a more steady pace watching a movie Chasing Legends for the last 1.5 hours.

My back and neck are still doing well...hopefully all is well again.

BTW:  Chasing Legends is a great movie for anyone interested in learning more about the sport of cycling - it follows a team through their Tour de France in 2009.  If you want to borrow it just let me know (if you're local, that is).
